Genie
another day Quote A Conservative MP has defended his comments where he said most children who struggle in his constituency were "the products of crap parents". chrisp65
MP John Mercer wanted to be judged on his promise to end veteran homelessness by 31.12.2023 MP John Mercer no longer wants to be judged on this and thinks people saying veteran homelessness has gone up is just cheap point scoring and an insult to homeless veterans. I think it might be time for a change.

Genie
There’s been some hilarious “accomplishments” bragged about today by Sunak and Cleverly. They are declaring they have delivered on their promise to clear the backlog of 92,000 asylum applications. Hoorah! There can’t be many left them if they’ve cleared the backlog? Current status 99,000 pending.

In other brilliant news, James Cleverley has committed to the small boat crossings being at 0 by the end of the year. There's no change in the approach, but hell, he's not going to be in parliament by then, so why not say it'll be -10000.

chrisp65
Easter eggs originated in Mesopotamia, or as modern day mesopotamians call themselves, Iranians, Iraqis, Armenians, Syrians, and Kuwaitis. Coming over here, not mixing with our culture.

bickster Posted January 4 Moderator Share Posted January 4 So General Election will be 2nd half of 2024. Must have realised spring was a little too early, still don't realise that autumn will just mean even less people voting for them They've delayed it apparently

Late October / early November more likely as it has a couple of advantages, extra party conference to spout bollocks and it suppresses the 18-21 vote
