There are certainly a lot of people struggling to come to terms with the fact that they are the reason we are in this mess as they stuck their X next to a Tory. They tell themselves it would have been worse under Corbyn so they can sleep at night I guess. You know what it could well have been a shit show under Corbyn but certainly in terms of things like the NHS, social care, helping those with the least if he had of failed he'd have done it from a place of genuinely wanting to actually help but messing up rather than what the Tories are doing which is wilful destruction of our public services and keeping the foot firmly pressed on those already with the least. In 2010 you could perhaps forgive people for voting Tory as they may not have been around during the Heath, Thatcher, Major days or perhaps they simply thought the Tories had changed. Every election since though the evidence was there and everyone had lived experience to show what we were getting. Of course a lot of people are happy to see other people suffer, as long as someone worse off than them is getting a good kicking, and will always happily stick a X next to a Tory. Davkaus
We've all eaten the onion. If you have a look at that asking it's an obvious parody. That particular tweet is all too believable though

I'm very comfortable with the idea of Johnson being completely airbrushed from history.

He could do with it, the skinny beast.
tinker Posted January 10, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted January 10, 2023 Anti strike laws been announced, this could be the beginning of the end for them , maybe a general strike is around the corner? I would strike to get rid of these hopeless clowns.
Genie
They say the best time to fix the roof is when the sun is shining. Currently it’s absolutely pissing down and this is what they plan to do… hopefully it is expediting their demise.

Only thing is, passing a law doesn't magically make it happen. Planning, organisation, support and funding make it happen. That's the work they should be doing. And aren't. You don't actually need to do anything to get in to/remain in power; just portray an image which people want to vote for. Very few people dig beyond, say, a headline or manifesto promise. Politicians rarely need to back up what they say they'll do - and a lot of people act like a party is equivalent to a football club.
Straggler
What the f is the point of passing a law that enforces a minimum guaranteed level of service during a strike if the reason for the strike is that we are operating as standard below said minimum level. Bunch of clearings in the woods the lot of them.

Davkaus
I can understand the leader of a nation sometimes needing to urgently, quickly and securely travel to a location and not being restricted by challenges of train schedules, securing routes, or just needing to save the time for critical government business. But it's a **** photo op to a health centre in Leeds. Using the jet wasn't the most effective use of his time. The most effective use of his time would be a similar photo op that doesn't mean travelling to the other end of the country.
