Popular Post markavfc40
I genuinely struggle to watch or listen to these bastards anymore. Over the last twelve years they have caused almost all of the issues that have left this country deep in the mire - NHS on its knees, social care decimated, huge increase in homelessness, huge increase in children growing up in poverty, huge increase in working poor, huge divide in the country due to the lies around Brexit and the Scots more determined than ever to leave the UK. Yet they have the brass neck to say they want to fix the issues they caused. F*** off.
Popular Post Genie
Did he really just ask a man who had already told him he was homeless what his plans for Christmas were? Mind blowing stuff.

markavfc40
Sunak is so far detached from the real world he may as well be living on another planet. 1

And yet that planet is still several million light years closer to the solar system than Liz Truss’s. What an incredibly weird few years it has been for this country.

Follyfoot Posted December 26, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted December 26, 2022 (edited) The European Union always protests that it is bound by rules that it cannot operate outside. It has never been particularly true, as the EU has always been willing to ignore its own rules when it suits, but the recent corruption scandalshows that this claim is institutionally false. This is not because of the alleged corruption itself. It is because it has revealed the extraordinary immunity given to members of the European Parliament. MEPs are immune from detention and legal proceedings except when caught red-handed. This is entirely different from how British MPs are treated. It goes to the heart of each system and the relationship between the governed and the governing https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/12/17/meps-legal-privileges-show-why-better/ Edited December 26, 2022 by Follyfoot

There is no doubt it is highly corrupt, but so is our government. Can't actually wait till it comes out (if ever) how many millions Kwasi Kwarteng made out of his little stint as chancellor in shares he has in 'certain' companies.
