His Name Is Death
The danger is that the 'sensible' voices are currently all coming from within the Tory party (Sunak, Gove, Hunt etc) while the opposition remains completely anonymous. If they get them in place before an election and begin to 'steady the ship' and it will be all "Ooh, do you really want to risk Labour now things are getting back on track?". And the public will fall for it.

Guest
This government is rotten to the core and is falling apart, for the sake of the country, we need a general election.

And the public will fall for it. All the oppo parties have been dead clear on the budget thing and the chaos that it caused. "reverse it". The public won't fall for it at all, IMO, some people will have short memories sure, but because of what it's done to pensions, mortgages and stuff, the responsibility will stick to the Tories. A direct hit of 500 quid a month, or a house purchase fallen through because mortgage offer withdrawn, or pension value halving. People remember that stuff. He’s also pretty busy with Ukraine/Russia.
