I hope he properly **** off. We don’t need him chirping in from the sidelines all the time about how he’d have done something better.

Back as PM in January would be a decent punt

Course we do. Keep the little rats divided, arguing, regretting and squabbling all the way until the next election.

There are stories that backbench MPs are planning for it already

Would make sense of Truss getting the nod. Sunak might appear too competent*.

That's not to say the UK is a terrible place to live, but everything is pointing in the wrong direction at the moment, and we've created some big disadvantages for ourselves with Brexit and the structure of our economy.

The economy needs a top down restructure worldwide, but a start here would be good.  AI to take over decision making on setting variables, as we've seen ample proof over decades that the self interest of the few is leading the World down a very dark path indeed.

Unfortunately with many having already gulped down disinformation supporting Trump, Farage, Boris, Putin, Bolsonaro and co the undeniable conclusion is that people's critical thinking and prescience is shit, and since many of the people at the top stopped at nothing to get there, there's a whole bunch of struggles coming up. The first for many is to grasp what's gone on? Talk about being led down the garden path, and now they're looking around bewildered. Well, newsflash, the Ukraine situation has just bought forward what was coming anyway.

Down and down and down and down and down and down we go, until people understand who the problem is, then act.
