If they do change the rules an there is a VONC he's a goner. It will be almost unanimous.

Theres then a chance he would resign ? to save the whole farce of VONC

Or the chair of the 1922 committee would tell him whats going to happen and give him the option of resigning.

Money on who's the next resignation?

Gove might be likely - more interested in saving his own skin.

Probably should have put money on it, but he is such a coward he can't even tender a formal resignation.

Shows how weak Johnson is that he hasn't sacked Gove for such disloyalty/saying the obvious.

I'm not sure that isn't yet a possibility

I thought Trump was a low point in the democratic world, but I think BoJo is getting fairly close to being worse. Lynching and insurrection aside.

Not sure Boris could muster enough support for a march on downing street

I think Gove has dared him to do just that.

one thing is sure one of them wont be in the cabinet much longer.

I hope he calls an election, would be incredible.

Quote

Angus MacNeil, Chair of the International Trade Committee says that years ago Johnson was comparing his Theresa May to Gloria Gaynor, as in the song, "I Will Survive".

He asks if Johnson intends to get the permission from the Queen to have a general election, or if he can just demand one.

Boris Johnson says the people of this country probably don't want an election right now.

If that Representative for Wellingborough Gove gets in I'm emigrating

Not a chance of that IMO

It's hard to judge which group hates him more in percentage terms. Tory MPs / Tory Members / Tory Voters / The Electorate

If Truss can't get enough votes I hope to hell it is Gove (it won't be)
