roonst83
Is it too obvious to expect Villa to bend over for the Liverpool win and help delay Rogers stay in his job for another week? With Gana and Traore I could see a point. But as it stands with them both out for God knows how long, this game smacks of a predictable comfortable win for Liverpool as well as the inevitable goals from Benteke and Sturridge - cue mass media wank fest. NoelVilla
Go back to the narrow formation we played last season with a front three of Gil, Grealish and Ayew.

VillaChris
Well we're unbeaten there since 2010 amusingly enough. Lambert never lost there and probably 2 of his best 5 games happened there.Sherwood's best game was the cup semi...2-1 defeat, Sturridge always seems to score against us and not sure we'll defend well in the key moments. flamingsombrero
As much as I'd like to think we can carry some momentum into this one I just can't see past us being brought back down to earth with a bump.4-1 defeat after some promise in the early stages. Gary Thomas
Not going to try and predict the result, but I just hope to see a positive hard working performance from us. Liverpool are there for the taking IMO. There is loads of pressure on Rodgers and the players and fans expect them to beat us. Even though we are probably underdogs, hope we go there and play with some freedom - my message would be "look we have nothing to lose, lets go out there, be confident and show them what we can do, no fear." If we can dominate the ball and keep possession early on - which I think we are capable of doing - the crowd will start getting on their backs. I have said before, there is so much youth and talent in our ranks I can see us turning over a few good sides. a win would be a real confidence booster.
