Stevo985 Posted August 25, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted August 25, 2015 Now that I think about it, he did look in a lot of pain after the challenge. At the time I actually thought he was play acting to get the guy sent off (he was on a yellow)
avfc1982am
Gutted! Hopefully a couple of days rest and it will be fine. Fingers crossed.
KSV
Hopefully only a few weeks and not months First Gil now Traore. Why our most entertaining players always getting injured.

dakid007
There left back was hugging & kicking him the whole match. Traore still blasted past him even when injured.
Guest av1
**** he would be ideal to play vs Sunderland's defence. After about 10mins tonight I said to my son 'this guy is going rip Sunderland apart the weekend' Can you imagine him running at Brown and O'Shea? Please be fit. Mark Albrighton Posted August 26, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted August 26, 2015 I reckon (or just hopeful) that it's not serious. When required he still managed to sprint down the wing after getting injured. If it was anything too bad I can't imagine he's have managed that. Fingers crossed but feeling positive he'll make some sort of appearance on Saturday.
HanoiVillan
I'll be so disappointed if he's not bearing down on John O'Shea at a million miles per hour on Saturday.
tonyh29
Well that was fun and he is probably going to sum up our season from ridiculous to sublime .... Once we calm him down a bit though he is going to be fantastic Rode a few tough challenges and looks fairly powerful if I were Tim I'd see if maybe we could turn him into a CF in the Dalian Atkinson type mould , direct powerful running at CB's will scare the bejebus out of them
maqroll
Should we be risking our prized possesions like Jack and Traore so early in the league cup?
Ponky
I'm sure the defenders in the Spanish 2nd division would have been fond of trying to kick the shit out of him too. He's probably pretty used to it.
maqroll
Yeah, prolly. Pisses me off though. I remember Hull essentially trying to derail Jacks career last year. I see red when other teams pull this kind of ****. Edited August 26, 2015 by maqroll

Ponky
Difference though being Jack almost seems to want the opposition to try and kick him.

bobzy
Yeah, prolly. Pisses me off though. I remember Hull essentially trying to derail Jacks career last year. I see red when other teams pull this kind of ****. It was worse against Doncaster Rovers (I think) when he played for Notts County. They basically spent an entire game trying to end him. Unfortunately, this will always and has always happened to the more skilful players in a team. Be it Grealish or Messi or some 11 year old who is way better than his schoolmates, the way to stop them will mainly be physical.
Guest
Gil pre season too, can't remember who against? He got injured after a bad tackle.
