LondonLax
I thought he played some great passes before he came off. Very tidy and think he will be a good player for us.
KSV
Thought he started well but faded. Alot of our foreign signings are a little behind on fitness and will need time.
Vive_La_Villa
he seems to have something about him but seems a little off the pace. You can tell he will be a good player though.
dont_do_it_doug.
When people say he looked a bit off the pace what do they mean? Fitness wise yes, not 100%. But the pace of the game? I thought he looked natural with it.
Tomaszk
You can see he's got ability, looking forward to him catching up fitness-wise. I think he lacked a bit of confidence early on, couple of overhit passes didn't help him. Would definitely stick with him in the XI for Utd to give him a boost. lexicon
More to the point, it's apples and oranges - Veretout is a creative player, Sanchez is La Roca. Sanchez offers more than Westwood defensively, Veretout offers more than Westwood attack-wise. Should be those two with the amazing Gana.

Yep, being able to bring Sanchez on to firm up the defence when we're ahead is a real bonus. I hope and think that's how he'll be used.
Popular Post Ponky
I thought it was a real baptism yesterday against a team known for their high intensity pressing game. Just seeing how little time you get on the ball would have been a great eye opener. He clearly loves to put his foot on the ball and find the best option so once he gets used to the pace of things he will be invaluable I think.

If we're winning with about half an hour to go, especially whilst the new players are settling in, I reckon Veretout will make way for Sanchez regularly. VillaChris
Yeah a lot of the papers were predicting Sanchez would start tonight... think that will be the change at Palace.
Feidhlim
Didn't like the way he faked being hit in the chest Could do without that play acting in the game. Bullshit.

Villarocker
Biggest disappointment for me tonight but it's clear that he lacks fitness. He was doing OK for about 20 minutes then just disappeared. I was surprised Sherwood didn't change it sooner.
