briny_ear
Excellent signing. Well done Tim. More of the same please. Yes, great start indeed. Not bad for someone judged by some of our "wisest" posters to be only a little more shrewd - or no more shrewd - than Paolo di Canio. StefanAVFC Posted June 17, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted June 17, 2015 Fiorentina played 3 at the back iirc and he wasn't picked there. If he's signed as a right back its a fantastic signing, if as a centre back, then I'm slightly concerned.
Spoony
Good signing I reckon and tbh I don't see why he'd necessarily be signed as a RB seeing as we are chopping Lowton and we may either sign a CB or re-sign Vlaar. Either way, good signing and we'll wait and see how he does in whatever position.

One for a different thread but it is IMO fair to say that Tim is somewhat tactically naive.
Rodders
despite my reservations over fitness and positioning, I quite obviously hope he's a tremendous success - as I do with all signings. Welcome Micah and good luck
markavfc40
Cracking signing. We are crying out, and have been for some time, for proven top flight quality and we have got that with this lad and he still has his peak years in front of him. Hopefully he is the first of 4 or 5 of that ilk.
picicata
He is fast and strong but lacks football intelligence. As long as he plays RB then this signing shouldn't be too bad. If he is signing as a CB though..

tomh621
Micah Richards when he was at City. Not relevant to football in any way but he's a beast.
Frank Raphael
Pretty good signing. No idea where he'll play but it's a bit more pleasing than Cole and Senderos on frees last year.
Mantis
Yeah, this is a pretty decent signing especially for free.
Designer1 Posted June 17, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted June 17, 2015 I think this could be a very shrewd signing. More please.

NeilS
I hope that this turns out to be a great signing for us, I remain cautious at the moment though as I fear that a lack of playing time over the last three years may have taken the edge off of his game and he may no longer be the player we all remember. Hopefully he will allay my fears and put in some storming performances over the coming season and help us climb up to a decent position in the league from where we can build. Frank Raphael
Seems very down to Earth and fair with his analysis of himself and his game.
sexbelowsound
Seems pretty clued up, apart from the Arsenal supporting part.....
mightysasquatch
Benteke will loose the clubs "built like a brick s****house" title, always makes me laugh when he gets described like that anyway because he isn't. Maybe strong in footballer terms. Richards though has a powerful physic.
Wainy316
So should we pronounce it 'Mike-ah' or 'Mick-ah'?
Nigel Posted June 17, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted June 17, 2015 Im even happier to have him on board after watching that. I cant think of a better place for a defender to learn his trade than Italy!
