Villan4Life
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aston-villa-newcastle-sunderland-eyeing-5377842 Neil Taylor's Swansea future is in doubt as top-flight clubs line up to land him for just £3million. The 26-year-old will have just a year left on his contract at the end of this season and a host of clubs are keen to sign him. Aston Villa, Newcastle and Sunderland are among those interested in adding the Wales full-back to their ranks for next season. Taylor has enjoyed an impressive campaign at the Liberty Stadium this term and the club turned down bids in the January window. But with no new deal in the pipeline it looks increasingly likely he will make a move away. Taylor has made 126 appearances for Swansea since his move from Wrexham in 2010. Villan4Life
Yeah I'd take him. Was excellent yesterday. Ashley "Jazz" Richards is a decent player for Swansea as well!!
dn1982
Strange that they're not offering him a new deal looks good to me and they must have rated to sell Ben Davies. If have him all day long I'd also have a look at Davies as he never seems to play for Spurs. Left Back is a position that needs a long term solution. Zatman
good player but he was 2nd choice behind Davies after he got a nasty injury in Swansea 1st Premier League season
VillaChris
Liked him for a few years, didn't he break his leg the first season and then Ben Davies came in and played well? I do think he's a realistic target given teams like Palace and West Brom have been linked with him in the last year. Signings like him would convince me we're in for better teams ahead, no frills, just does his job week in week out.
dudevillaisnice
Fee probably isn't an issue but wages probably would be under current ownership.
VillaChris
How many contracts has he signed since he joined Swansea as he came from non league.]] I can't see him being on more than 30k.
Mr_Dogg
We're ok at full back with Cissokho and Hutton no?
dudevillaisnice
They don't offer much going forward though, Cissokho certainly doesn't
VillaChris
Well Hutton's a right back just playing the other side in an emergency. I don't mind Cissokho but he's very limited going forward. Taylor is a regular for a side usually in the top half so he's better than what we have.
Tomaszk
Anything that decreases Joe Bennett's chances of ever playing for Villa again has my endorsement.
HanoiVillan
He'd be a great addition. I don't know why Swansea don't rate him, but it does seem like they don't. Puzzling.
rodders0223
Good defender, good on the ball, tactically sound. Would take him in a heartbeat.
troon_villan
This is a strange one. Swansea should be doing all they can to keep him. It's been a real standout season for him. I brought into my fantasy team as a cheapy and he's done me proud!
