Isa
It may well not be happening but if it is we'll know of it when it is confirmed by the club, without any real indication, knowing us. Edited July 6, 2015 by Isa
DCJonah
It would be a real shame if we failed to get taken over for the second summer in a row. Things look a lot more promising and it's good that Lerner has promised to not have anything to do with us from this point on, but I'd feel much better about the future if we were sold. Delph will not get a new contract, no chance.
Chap of Steel
To be honest I thought we'd have heard some news by now, although the club do seem pretty secretive with news these days.

romavillan Posted July 6, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted July 6, 2015 Until the 22nd has come and gone and the exclusivity period is definitely over it's a bit premature to say there's not going to be a deal.
Villan4Life
Why is Jim White from Sky Sports at our kit launch reporting tomorrow?? Just seems very odd. Has any other club has Sky Sports reporting when they have launched the kit? Takeover related? or not? http://www.avfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10265~4844906,00.html Sky Sports presenter Jim White is set to front the coverage of our kit launch on Tuesday. The popular deadline day reporter will compere the event, which starts at 5pm and will be screened live here on our official website. Our home and away strips for the 2015/16 campaign will be revealed for the first time. There has been a teaser campaign, featuring players Christian Benteke, Jack Grealish, Ciaran Clark and Gabby Agbonlahor. Four of our players will model the tops for the unveiling on Tuesday. They are new boys Micah Richards and Scott Sinclair along with Grealish and Clark. The tops will then be available to buy from our Villa Park and New Street stores from Saturday July 11. Both outlets will open early - Villa Park from 8am and New Street from 9am. Edited July 6, 2015 by Villan4Life

Villan4Life
Not. What is the point of getting Jim White to present it? just seems odd thing to do!!! Is it meant to be on Sky Sports as well? Edited July 6, 2015 by Villan4Life

Probably making a nice appearance fee for it.
SikhInTrinity
It's a gimmick, he's popular for yellow ties and that whole Yellow nonsense they do on Deadline Day, we release a yellow kit so he fronts it.

Qwpzxjor1
He's a freelance presenter, he can be there without it being anything to do with Sky Sports. Same way as if Gary Linekar did an after dinner speech or something, it'd be nothing to do with the BBC. We are just reading into everything at the moment because we are clutching at straws.
El-Reacho
The club seems to be putting a bit more into the PR side of these things. The Delph contract signing in January was pretty novel and was genuinely (slightly) exciting.
