Mandy Lifeboats
Several industry experts are quoting 21 days at a cost of just over £1000. But there are engineering works at Bristol Temple Meads.
Sid4ever
Quote You can now travel from Lagos in Portugal all the way to Singapore, say rail experts - with a few stops along the way. Analysis by rail blogger Mark Smith, aka The Man in Seat 61, and Reddit users calculated that the 11,654-mile journey could be done in 21 days. Moscow to Beijing 140 hours being the longest stretch. Having looked into this today though, I think if Istanbul had been given as the answer, even I might have joined the fight! A funicular built in 1875 with 2 stops, isn’t a metro system it’s a tunnel! The clue must be that the Turkish called the line Tünel.
bickster Posted December 16, 2021 Moderator Share Posted December 16, 2021 Well if we're including underground funiculars, the London Underground wasn't the first metropolitan underground rail line as it's often touted
