For a lot of people the coffee shop is somewhere to meet their mates. Like the pub! You got the worlds pub culture that's for sure. Well and the Irish I guess. KenjiOgiwara
Seems to be a small correlation between coffee consumption and that black metal band chart.

I actually think one of the instant coffees in Norway is streets ahead of everything else. So if you're in a jam Brasero > all other instant crap by a country mile. It's Nescafe though, so probably all over Europe.

Don’t get me wrong, the Brasero is the least terrible choice, but it’s still not any good.

I have about 4 or 5 cups of coffee during my waking hours and I don’t think that’s unusual. I really don't enjoy traditional black tea at all. Fresh ground coffee is superior by some distance. It's Your Round
Sample size of one here but I drink loads of coffee, I love it. But I can’t stand tea. Does that make me anti-British?

I have no idea what is going on in the second half of this silly video, its bad enough that the person has to take about 15 strips of the foil off before finally geting rid of it but what goes on with the milk afterwards is just some gravy on fish like perversion

It could be that because we drink more tea it somewhat waters down our coffee consumption, which is actually no bad thing. Many people will alternate, some with a heavier preference for tea (not dinner tea). https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-43742686 Coffee: Who grows, drinks and pays the most? Oh, what a surprise. The UK pays the most for coffee, and by a long way. Knock me down with a feather. It's a miracle anyone in Finland, Sweden, Iceland and Norway can get any sleep. It's no wonder they are so het up about vaccines. Their brains must be working at 10,000 mph whilst they rock backwards and forwards clutching their knees fretting about the world. As someone who has travelled the world, lived in Scandinavia, and worked with a lot of Scandinavian people. It never struck me they were coffee people. Not coffee countries and anyone saying they are clearly hasn't travelled. They only drink coffee as they need something to go with all the cake their eating, they're a cake country, not a coffee country. A quick Google search shows me Sweden even once banned coffee and that 'fika' is a way of mind.
Popular Post a m ole
On coffee, JustEat are advertising takeaway Starbucks and Costa. Same as people who brazenly litter, anyone who would consider ordering a Starbucks to their home, I’d be happy to remove them from the face of the earth and I guarantee it would make some of societies problems slightly better. I’d drink one if it’s all that’s about by the way, like at an airport or shopping centre and I want some caffeine, fine. But if it’s your first choice, take a good hard look in the mirror. TheAuthority Posted April 19, 2021 VT Supporter Share Posted April 19, 2021 @KenjiOgiwara is right - the UK is not a coffee country. Oh they do drink a lot of what they think is coffee, but it's actually brown milky piss water. Nescafé? - freeze dried Vietnamese donkey turd. Costa Coffee ?Costa lot of milky brown turdy water. Appalling place to get coffee. I would go as far to say I've never had a good cup of coffee in the UK.
