maqroll
Gregory would have never lied down in Moscow. I'd love to bring him back to the club in some capacity when he's feeling better. Villa thru and thru.
ozvilla28
Why he was taken off is beyond a joke there were so many more headless chooks a lot worse.
foreveryoung
He was struggling today, tend to think he is still injured. Don't want to start thinking this guy was a one game wonder, please no.
DCJonah
Could he have come off due to him drifting inside? Maybe Sherwood wanted someone to stay wide.
grobs
He was awful today. Stoke players too strong just blew him off the ball

StanBalaban
Didn't look confident today, so maybe he's not 100% yet.
ozvilla28
Why didn't Bacuna come on if he wanted a winger.
WooJung
The moment he came off we lost it though.

I thought weimman stayed wider than gill was doing. He was all over the place.
ozvilla28
Dont know what people a saying he didn't play well every time he was on the ball we looked dangerous.
JoeParker91
We need to find a way to get him on the ball further up the pitch and more centrally, so that he can hurt the opposition more. I'd like him just behind Benteke rather than being stuck to the wing. Wonder if his injury was a part of the decision to take him off.
BigCarew
He didn't look fit today, maybe still suffering from the injury
HanoiVillan
I agree, I thought he looked totally out of it. Hopefully he hasn't aggravated anything by coming back too soon.
matrim
Was poor enough yesterday. Doesn't seem to like the physical side and pulled out of a few challenges where he should have won the ball. Also, always seems to want to pull back and go inside onto his left foot. I know he is left footed but I'd like to see him try go outside sometimes and put the ball into the box with his right. DCJonah
I think we need to play him in a central position. If we play him out wide we are often left with no one out wide because he's constantly coming inside to try and get the ball. Could also be a key player behind benteke and I'm sure he'd be much more intelligent than gabby in trying to read benteke winning headers.
Stevo985 Posted February 22, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted February 22, 2015 He must have come off because he was struggling with whatever kept him out of the cup game. Taking him off for any other reason was stupid.
Isa
At Spurs Sherwood played Eriksen on the left of a midfield four but with a licence to drift centrally. I'd like to see him do something similar with Gil as orthodox winger he is not.
