jackbauer24
He was offering nothing today because Sherwood set up the team badly, his position was redundant as Gil/Grealish were operating behind a lone striker and balls stopped at the half way line and were then hopefully booted high forward. He shouldn't have been subbed, he should have taken Gabby's place or played more centrally. Sinclair would have stood no chance winning any of the high balls that were fed into Gabby the first half. Maybe behind Rudy in the second half, then he may have been more effective. There was so much space , from a villa point of view , between Gabby and other villa player we was never going to create from high balls into to him , the midfield was to deep and the wingers were .......well fukc knows where they were
Delphinho123
He isn't very good.Hopefully benched when Traore comes back.

sharkyvilla
He is gutless player and no player I hate more. He not know its a **** derbyBut you'd decided that before he even joined. Of all the dogturd tonight it's strange to pick on him as he is surrounded by a midfield that has contributed nothing and two other forwards who are crap. Get Grealish and Gil on to support Sinclair up top and we may have some movement and creativity.
Zatman
He has bottled at least 3 challenges, as I said he is like a poor mans Stuart Downing. HE can dribble and lose the ball I understand but not dodging tackles
Dr_Pangloss
Looks like his run of form is over. I thought he was very poor today, really didn't contribute anything positive going forward
Swerbs
Is he capable of emotion?

AshVilla
Another one of his quiet gamesReally shouldn't be starting them Gil or Grealish all day long over this guy
VillaChris
Only listened on the radio but barely heard his name.Such a weird player, he'll probably score a hat trick against Blackpool in FA cup 3rd round and people will start going mad about him again. West
A problematic player, can't play on the wings, can't really play up front alone. Not sure when he can play regularly.
gharperr
If darren bent and nzogbia created a child, it would be sinclair. -quite good movement in the box to score tap ins-runs into defenders all the time and doesnt get his head up when on the ball-anonymous and its like playing with 10 men for the rest of the game
Isa
Can be a decent goalscorer but not much else to him. Don't mind him in the squad, I do believe he'll score some important goals this season but certainly not a regular starter.
DCJonah
I don't think he should be playing as much as he does. I hope Traore will replace him when he's back to full fitness. Has moments but just really doesn't do much.
CrackpotForeigner
Maybe not much good today, but still our leading goalscorer. He has a lot of skill and pace, although his vision and physical size maybe limit him a bit. He's frustrating, because in many ways he's just a couple of skills away from being a truly great player. Some of the tricks and passes he pulls of are wonderful to watch, and I put him in the group of our best attacking players along with Grealish, Traore, Ayew and Gil.
HanoiVillan
I would like to formally apologise for suggesting he could play up front. I've never seen anyone so easily outmuscled with his back to goal. Back to the drawing board.
Keyblade
Is he capable of emotion? he does keep the straightest of faces at all times. Misses a tap in --> stares intently into space
lexicon
I think he's of most use as an impact player - lots of pace and energy.
Stevo985 Posted September 23, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted September 23, 2015 I thought he was a handful last night. Didn't do anything spectacular but ran at their players all the time and often was the reason Ayew had space to overlap.I think that trait is underrated.
