lapal_fan
I always feel guilty when I see this thread bumped, because I get excited I might have got a hit. It is weird, I felt nothing but unbridled joy and overwhelming happiness that Deidre Rasheed had died..

NorthernGordon
Apparently Keith Harris was the only 70s television entertainer who was honest and open about fisting a young bird.

maqroll
One of the few songs that are better than the original. Great romp of a tune.
chrisp65
Story on the radio this morning that the FBI 'investigated' Jack's version of the song. Apparently they were worried that the unintelligible words may have been obscene. On listening many times at various speeds, they decided no, it really is just unintelligible. The Kingsmen said this was due to the nature of the recording, a single take, all together in a small room with a single mic suspended from the ceiling. Total recording cost $36. I believe the modern hipster chap would refer to this audio recording technique as 'lo-fi'.
sharkyvilla
I wish I was alive in the black and white days. Everyone seems less of a word removed. Go along to a gig in your shirt and tie, the girls showed enough leg without being sluts, the music was better.
