I bought their first album on the recommendation of a friend, then returned to HMV to exchange it for Yeasayer's "All Hour Cymbals" a day later. When I gave the young tyke behind the desk my reason for the return being "because it's shite" he didn't seem very happy. Just doesn't do it for me. I do like Wombats, they cae around for me at the same time as the Pigeon Detectives, I still can't decide which band I prefer. In fairness All Hour Cymbals is a very good choice in itself.
