I didnt like Terrence Trent Darby when he inexplicably was popular. That is up there with the worst of covers, I am thinking Annie Lennox train in vain bad. You can't please everybody, has my wonderful Grandmother often told me.

But I did give it a listen, there is that. I give you free rein the next time I post a video where a man talks about his girlfriend thinking his tractor is a bit of alright. bickster Posted December 10, 2022 Moderator Share Posted December 10, 2022 Pretty strange. The Wedding Present, remixed (completely rerecorded on samplers and sequencers more like) by The Utah Saints. Kinda strange but I like it

PieFacE Posted December 13, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted December 13, 2022 (edited) One for @Demitri_C. As someone who mainly listens to 90's hip-hop when I do occasionally listen to rap (by no means my first choice of music) I find a lot of modern rap to be a bit shit. But one artist I did find who i liked was Denzel Curry. So here's a song, you may like it, you may hate it, I have no clues haha. I actually discovered Denzel Curry because he did this awesome cover of RATM's "Bull on Parade" which is more my style Edited December 13, 2022 by PieFacE

BOF Posted December 14, 2022 Moderator Share Posted December 14, 2022 Moody Blues, Nights in white satin. I'm mainly jealous of the lead singer's fabulous hair. It might be the best hair ever. What a tune though.

Seat68
Best experienced live, there is a great version with dreadful sound quality from Manchester in 1989, I was at that gig and it was also the scene of their last encore. This is the Peel session version, a phenomenal song, just phenomenal. Bass and lead guitar not prominent in the mix but even to this day I hear them and feel its Dave Gedges best work.
