The Fun Factory
Every window we always say the same thing - creative midfielder please Paul. You'd think this close to Christmas if one of us put a CAM on our lists surely one of us has been good enough to get it! I will stick my neck out and say that the Villa have not really had a proper out and out creative midfielder since Merson. One of the reasons why mostly the last 15 years we have been rubbish to watch, outside of a few years of decent counter-attacking and good defence under MON.
Farlz
Sinclair would be miles better than Gabby and Weimann. He was a good player before he stupidly went to City.
KSV
but he does say wages not agreed yet.. we cant afford half of what hes on..unless City pay some of it.I think he will be a good signing. May need time to recapture his old form. Lambert will give him regular game time.If we can sign another winger and creative midfielder.. we may just start scoring goals again. Nah Milner and young both for that bill but if you mean an attacking midfielder that is all flair yea I'd agree
paulfromsutton
We will never know what sinclair has motivation wise these days but he is a decent player would would improve the squad for just couple of million
samjp26
Looks like Sinclair is on his way to us this coming week then, interesting. He certainly has ability, I just hope he wants to get back on track.
Ponky
He will have had another 12 months or so to realise his Man City ambitions are worth sweet FA, so perhaps he will be much keener to pull the finger out than he was at WBA.
maqroll
Pleased with the Sinclair link. He'll be hungry for playing time and will want to put his career back on track. Option to make the move perm would be great.
samjp26
If anything, it at least gives us more options in the final third
Czechlad
Grealish-Benteke-Sinclair as our front three could create some havoc.
LockStockVilla
I saw Sinclair in preseason at Hearts vs City and he was one of the best players on the pitch that day. If he comes in with the right mindset and determined to make an impact, I'm all for it.
sonic_bouma
Zarate moving to QPR on loan. He would have been decent in the number 10 role. If Sinclair links are true then I'm glad we are going for width but this window is all about the number 10 role.
DCJonah
Wow we're actually going to sign a wide player. You know the pace at which Lambert works on a problem could see us being quite good in about 7 years.

bully
Happy with Sinclair as it might encourage others to stay to ogle his missus growing breasts. Might attract a few more fans too as feck all to see on the pitch

chappy
Sinclair was a great player for Swansea. That transfer was possibly the worst decision he could have made. If he comes here motivated then he is a much better addition than Cleverley ever could have been. Massive question mark over his motivation though!
