P3te
Win today we go above newcastle and 2 points behind WBA. No problem then Think I might have found a flaw in this proposal........ That's why the "no problem then" bit was added Edited April 25, 2015 by P3te

brommy
Clutching at straws but i'd say there's no chance QPR or Burnley catch us now, there's 1 more place left. This is very likely imo. Burnleh and qpr to go down plus 1 from the 5 above. Unfortunately I think boggies point today just about keeps them out of it.
sexbelowsound
I'd bet it'll be Hull that drop in. Their run in is horrific.

PaulC
me too and with the remaining fixtures Hull and Sunderland have one more win will do it for us I think.
KSV
You just don't know what could happen so.even though the fixtures may look hard for some.. There's no guarantee they won't pick up points. Problem is if we lose today were only.two points ahead.and a few teams have an extra match. We need a point today

Yeah- for most clubs having 3 home games in the last 4 would be a good thing. 3 home wins all season for Villa suggest otherwise. I reckon our vital win will be at Southampton and a point versus Dave Cameron's favorite team, West Ham.
Spoony
It'll be so disappointing if we go down as I think this team is capable of things under Sherwood...
Spoony
If we keep playing like this we'll be fine but the table now looks as bleak as it ever has
sexbelowsound
Realistically it was always going to look bleak after today. That's our hardest game gone and if we play keep playing like we have done I think we have the potential to pick up all 9 points from our home games. Mantis
If we keep playing like this we'll be fine but the table now looks as bleak as it ever has It really doesn't - it looked a lot worse in the middle of February. Honestly, if we go down it won't be because we lost tonight.
Nabby
One game at a time now really ... Sunderland after gettign stuffed at home against Palace away to Stoke looked easily like a Stoke win - Draw Palace on good run beat city at home then lose to both WBA and Hull at home That's just 2 examples First thing we need is Chelsea to beat Leicester midweek and stop their good run
P3te
There's absolutely no way we won't pick up at least another 4 points this season, based on performances and the fact that we're scoring goals
