As @Rugeley Villa says, VT transcends football and is still the site I spend most time on even after nearly 20 years of being a member. I hope its around for a long long time. Popular Post villa4europe Posted Saturday at 14:15 Popular Post Share Posted Saturday at 14:15 On topic can be good at times, theres 2 main problems, firstly there are people that would happily argue about the colour of grass and secondly which imo is the biggest problem there are some big conversation worthy things that stagnate, the luiz transfer for example, there's probably been a few hundred posts on him in the last week despite nothing actually happening football doesn't actually move fast enough for on topic to stay interesting Off topic does The most surprising thing about VT is seemingly it's traffic, I popped on red cafe earlier to see if they reacted to Radcliffe's nonsense, they weren't talking about it, we were, in recent weeks I've been on Chelsea, spurs and arsenal forums to try and read about villa related things, the volume of say Gallagher posts on here compared to Duran and kellyman posts on Chelsea's forum is crazy, not sure if limpid has some actual numbers for it but VT feels far busier than some "bigger" clubs Obviously familiarity too but VT is better organised than 90% of other clubs forums, there's some proper bandit countries out there (SHA for example) My only wish would be that gaming was as popular as music here 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I started posting on services provided by @limpid in about 1995, the conversations then was exactly the same as today but it involved the transfers of Sasa Curcic and Simon Grayson instead of Luiz and Kellyman. Same circles every season and it got boring. When I first came here I was a football and I was using on topic but I've completely lost interest in football the last few years, I never even look in on topic now.
