Stevo985 Posted November 22, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted November 22, 2014 My car is being sold in the spring and is being replaced by a bright luminous yellow 125cc scooter and bright high vis equipment & gear. The fastest I can go will be about 50mph. I'll save £2k+ a year. Sorry to hear that
CrackpotForeigner
Musicals. Don't sing, please, and don't launch into a preposterous coreographed dance routine as though that's what people do. Just get on with it.

Wainy316
Why 'baby' is so regularly used as a term of affection for ones lover. A bit odd if you think about it.

CarewsEyebrowDesigner
'babe' is more annoying than 'baby'. 'love' is the worst offender, especially as blokes tend to say it to women they don't even know. 'here love, do you have far cry 4 in stock?' ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

MakemineVanilla
Assuming there are some brummies on VT, what about 'Bab'? There does seem to be a ring of authenticity about it and it can be used equally by either gender.

Wainy316
'babe' is more annoying than 'baby'. . It's not the sound it's the connotation. 'Baby' as in infant. Why would you address someone you bonk in that way?
Ponky
Maybe it's short for "baby incubator"?
choffer Posted November 23, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted November 23, 2014 Never "got" why people get punchy after a few sherbets. Wedding I was at yesterday kicked off in spectacular fashion. I know alcohol lowers inhibitions and I'm sure it allowed simmering tensions to come to the fore but really, to just come out swinging baffles me. Stunning evenings entertainment though.
