maqroll
Surely Villa Park will be sold out for this one? If we can contain their midfield, we have a decent shot at getting a result from this. They are a bit weak upfront, and a bit weak in defense. I expect Vlaar will be back in for Baker. We are winning games without being much of a scoring threat, and that needs to change if we expect to get anything more from this run of games. villalad21
I said it in the Liverpool thread and i guess i will have to say it again at this one. BACK TO REALITY Will Lambert F*** up my prediction again?
samjp26
Alexis is a huge threat but I think we may be able to get something from this game. We're going to lose soon, but I think we may just go one more game unbeaten.

ArteSuave
We lost the corresponding fixture last season and they've since spent £50m on their front line. This is another free hit.
Rugeley Villa
get stuck into them and we will get something from the game, also need the fans to be a 12th man. arsenal sometimes struggle in situations like that. im going for 1.
LordSepulchrave
- Stoke - Newcastle - Hull - 'pool - Arsenal - Chelsea - City - Everton Honestly, 10 points from that run of games would not be a bad total per say - that we're at 10 points already will hopefully allow us to relax and play without much pressure. We could get something from Arsenal if we continue to play with the confidence and discipline we've shown so far.
Zhan_Zhuang
Wondering about the back four for this one if Vlaar is out and Senderos gets done retrospectively? Hutton Okore Baker Cissokho or Hutton Baker Cissokho Clark however I think the latter team has two many left-footers in there?
maqroll
As good as Baker was yesterday, I want Vlaar back for this one. And all Senderos did was stick his leg out, it's not like he dove feet first into his knee caps. Vlaar and Senderos FTW

F-87
I said it in the Liverpool thread and i guess i will have to say it again at this one. BACK TO REALITY Will Lambert F*** up my prediction again? The reality is we're getting back on our feet after years of taking a beating. I know people find that hard to believe... but it's time to let it sink in. Will we win the league? Probably not (though £5 on odds of 2500/1 is still worth a punt ). Are we going to be part of another relegation battle... not a chance. Our new signings + Keano mega power beard rage mentality + brick wall defence = we're 2nd in the table. Imagine what it'll be like when Tekkers and Kozak come back! I'm putting my money on another win, at the very least a draw. AVL 2 - 1 ARS
Wainy316
Not beat them at home since 1998, even with form out the window, law of averages suggest it has to happen sooner rather than later.
Richard
Far too much positivity and confidence in this thread for my liking!. Surely Wellbeck has to score for them?
VillaChris
1-3 Arsenal. The sort of result that usually happens when hopes start to get raised. Best to sit back and think we're playing at the Emirates as if we attack regularly think Sanchez and Ramsey will kill us breaking from midfield. Still far more points than expected at this point so I'm relaxed. I'll go for 38k as the crowd aswell, don't think we'll hit 40k but would expect decent amount of tickets to be sold this week on back of Liverpool result. Keyblade
Hope to hear VP rocking. With the discipline shown against Liverpool and the crowd behind us, who's to say we can't take anything from this game?
