VillaChris
Surely Gignac can score against these?!
useless
In terms of winning the whole tournament Greece was probably a bigger surprise. Of course England were the favourites and Iceland beating them was an upset of sorts. England should be disappointed with their performance on the night whoever the oppostion. VillaChris
Lativa got a draw v Germany in 2004, that was a huge shock.

villa4europe
gomez is out of the tournament i think so the bloke they called up to be in charge of the teams social media might actually have to play
Zatman
Iceland are still showing great heart and courage here even when getting stuffed compare that to Villa feeble efforts last season when just going 1-0 down

useless
I'm not watching the game. People called Gignac names after the last game, he wasn't as bad as all that, and his goal scoring records suggest so too.
useless
Some judging him on his appearence, is the feeling that I got.
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Germany v France is too close to call. France with home advantage and a slightly better attack might just do it.

villa4europe
some judging him on the fact that he's not benzema, lacazette or gameiro i think and tbf they'll have a point, its a baffling decision

useless
I never argued that he had ability, as I said at the time, that was the only time I've seen him play. All I was saying was that I didn't think he was as bad, on the night, as people were making out. And given the names he was being called, I was surprised when I looked it up, that he has a pretty decent goalscoring record.
El Zen
I'm practically religious about the number 10 shirt, so I really want Gignac to be good. He's not

I'm not saying he's good or bad, just that he has a goodish goal scoring record.
VillaChris
Pleased to see Eidur get a final hurrah for his country. I know he got stick in the other game he played but he is 37 and was such a classly player at his peak for Chelsea. Was linked to us a few times wasn't he? Edit: Got fantastic reception from Stade de France, lovely to see. Edited July 3, 2016 by VillaChris
