PaulC
His workrate is fantastic. Very impressed with him last two games.
The Fun Factory
Best game for us on Saturday. Just needs to score a couple of goals and I could be persuaded a cut price offer(4-5 mil?) in January wouldn't be a terrible decision.
AValon
Feisty little bugger, I'll say that much.
poitier
His total inability to spot a forward pass was plain embarrassing against Palace.
itdoesntmatterwhatthissay
Did really well, it'd be interesting to see how much more we'd get from him if we had a better wide player. My brother made a good point though, is he £8million/70k a week good...or even 50k a week good, because that's what we'll probably pay him if he does sign..... OutByEaster? Posted December 2, 2014 Moderator Share Posted December 2, 2014 He's a proper grafter, I'll give him that!
Bunnski
He is a terrier and good at hassling the opposition but when in possession he is real bad. Never a £7m player, it looks like such a struggle for him to hit a pass beyong 10 yards.
AVTuco Posted December 2, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted December 2, 2014 I maintain that he looks good. He is not the AM we all are looking for, but he is a very good complementary player. When played with a good AM he can be efficient in the attack too.
Condimentalist
He's alright. I'll take him at the right price, but I'd hoped he'd bring more going forward.
villa4europe
Any more than £0 next summer and I'd be disappointed
dakid007
At the moment he is leading this team. We should defo buy him
Milfner
I'm a big fan of Westwood's, but Cleverley is definitely an upgrade on him.

He can't cross the ball, granted, but then he's not a winger or full back.

Ye fair enough but he plays the simple pass nearly everytime which is fine, I just thought when he was joining us that he would be the type to score goals and get assissts but he doesn't look like he has it in him. Hopefully we sign some quality attacking players that will complement him better in future.
lexicon
Delph doesn't really score many goals or get many assists either, is he not worth 7mil?
Bunnski
Delph doesn't really score many goals or get many assists either, is he not worth 7mil? I'm talking about Cleverley, Delph has nothing to do with it. Delph is dynamic and makes things happen whereas Cleverley looks under pressure the whole time and is more defensively minded. Not sure what you're getting at with that last post tbh.
PaulC
Since Cleverley has arrived our midfield looks more solid, maybe not creative but he's doing a good job. I hope we can sign him on a permanent basis.
Guest
I'd take him, but not at 8m.
AvfcRigo82
I really don't rate him, yeah he can break up a bit of play but there is still a lot missing from this guy. There is a lot better we can be spending 8m on!
