Texas_Mike
Fan F in tastic..... still makes me panic inside as he makes a move or pass about a second before disaster strikes, but what a performance!!
Ponky
Really shields the ball well under pressure. I think this new possession-based approach would fall apart without him there.
kurtsimonw
Such a tidy player. 95% pass completion today. Composed on the ball, can pick out a pass and wins it back well. What a bargain signing.
VillaChris
He's getting the pace now. The early games he wasn't like v Arsenal. Would imagine he'll go on to be the regular DM so we need two more alongside him for next season.
Milfner
That nutmeg on the Sunderland midfielder when he was surrounded by two of their players was magic!
supernova26
It's like he plays in a different zone to everyone else on the pitch sooo calm on the ball. He's helped us not lose today and getting a draw vs Man Utd by bossing the midfield areas even when down to 10 men.

I knew he was sensational but my word. Astonishing all round performance by a player fast becoming a favourite of mine. Thought he was a bit shakey boxing day but I've not seen a performance like today in years.

VillaChris
It's clear he is nailing the DM position now. We need an inbetween box to box player (Delph would still be perfect for this but not going to stay) so I fear next season it will be rotation between Cleverley here full time and Westwood. Then we need an AM player of some description. Maybe just maybe then we might actually have a top 10 standard midfielder....but then we'll sell Benteke and have a relegation standard strikeforce. ROTTERDAM1982
Bacuna is better than both Westwood and Cleverley in that role.In fact he looked better there than Delph did today. If/when Joe Cole is fit, play him and Grealish in front of Sanchez and Bacuna.
Biskitt
Did anyone see that bit in the first half when the ball was up in the air and about 3-4 players were going for it and he just does this nonchalant little flick to Cleverley ? Had zero impact on the game overall but was a real touch of class
