lexicon
Settling into the prem takes time - he's doing alright.
theboyangel
Prior to his foul that led to their winner, we had ample opportunity to clear the ball - unfortunately Sanchez had to step in.
KSV
its his second half fade outs that worry me. Hes obviously not fit. Lambert if starting him again against West Ham ( and he should imo) should take him off around the 65th minute. Maybe bring on Cole or Jack depending on the scoreline. I dont think he can last 90 min of premier league football yet.
samjp26
Settling in very well, some great battles between him and Song today

DCJonah
Getting better, our best midfield player today.
Farlz
I thought he was great today. I think when some people give him stick they need to realise he's only started 4 games or so. As the season goes on I'm sure he's going to become an important player for us.
nik986
A neat and tidy player. An upgrade on Westwood.

poitier
Easily our best footballer today, he also showed that he can run with the ball at speed. Looks like he knows what he is doing when he has the ball, although there were a few loose passes.
JoshVilla
Seems to be getting more comfortable with more game time. Needs to keep his place and keep playing.
KJT123
Is it just me that thinks he was played a bit further up the pitch today? To be fair even though he is supposed to be a 'sitter', he probably poses our biggest attacking threat as well!
AshVilla
Considering the bloke is supposed to be a DM i think is best play is shown when he actually goes forward He actually looks threatening and has come close to scoring a few already
PaulC
Yes he's strong, good on the ball and passes the ball well. He's got the ingredients to become a very good player for us.
Bunnski
Was a beast today and thankfully didn't make a major mistake. He has been decent in his last 3 games and basically ruined 2 solid performances with stupid mistakes which are down to fitness imo especially vs Spurs. He looked wrecked tired in the last 10 minutes today and hopefully he will be upto full fitness after the International break. Another potentially good Lambert signing? AValon
Is it just me that thinks he was played a bit further up the pitch today? To be fair even though he is supposed to be a 'sitter', he probably poses our biggest attacking threat as well Yes, I thought that. He looked more confident on the ball when doing so as well. GENTLEMAN
I was pleasantly surprised by his mobility today, I did not think he possessed that attribute. Keep it up Carlos!
KitKat
Excellent midfielder! Has all the phsyical attributes and an eye for a pass too. Seems to be catching up to the pace of the league nicely. A good option at a good time now that Delph is out.
VillaChris
Had his best game by a distance today. Seems to have sorted out when to pass early and when to hold onto it. Keep it up chap.
