samjp26
Try to remember that he had done less than 2 weeks training since going out of the World Cup Just gonna quote myself on this one.
Bunnski
Looked a bit off the pace today but hopefully he will have himself in good form for our next game. Those guns....
theboyangel
Great that he'll have two weeks to bed in with the majority of the squad - it will take time for him to settle into the pace of the league and can understand why Lambert is easing him into matches. Oaks
Delph gets forward and comes alive when he come on, so I hope he settles quickly.

bobzy
Even with his nerves/lack of settling in time etc, he has the confidence and ability to drive passes forward. He drilled one into Gabby (that was taken very well btw) which was superb. I didn't really expect that sort of thing from him. Aren't Colombia playing some games so he'll be away for most of the two weeks. I reckon he'll start v Arsenal.
AVTuco Posted August 31, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted August 31, 2014 Carlos looks a bit lost out there, but it's fully understandable at this point. Destroyer! That's what he'll be for us. I love it.

kurtsimonw
I imagine he'll be getting some starts in the next 5 and we'll see him, Westwood and Delph in a midfield 3. He's going to have a job on his hands picking up the likes of Fabgreas, Ramsey and Silva.

The Fun Factory
With KEA gone and half the midfield on loan, he could be a key player for us. Just hope he gets up to speed soon. Edited September 1, 2014 by The Fun Factory
Tomaszk
He was charging out of position to the ball a bit too regularly considering we were defending a one goal lead. Eye for a pass though.
Delphinho123
I'd stick him on Sterling next match. With Liverpool setting up in such an attacking formation, I'd start both Cleverley, Sanchez and Delph in the middle of the park with N'Zogbia and Agbonlahor out wide. Yes I think Sanchez Sterling could be a very interesting match up in the next game. Personally I would go with Sanchez, Westwood, Delph, Cleverly - keep us really solid and try to control the game then Weimann and Gabby upfront. Zog still looks rusty to me and not sure this is a game he will thrive in. We'll need everyone working their bollox off. I think Sanchez could be key for us in this game though if I were Rodgers I would play him wide backing him to have more success against Hutton who while being great going forward this season hasn't really been tested defensively. Also they'll have Ballotelli to occupy us in the centre who always scores against us.

supermon
I really hope he comes good soon. Don't know why but just have a feeling he won't quite cut it in premier league. Will give him time, reminds me of when we signed Makoun I guess
