darrenm
The revenge tackle always made me a bit uneasy about him. But the fact is they had previous and at least he was perfectly honest about it rather than people who do that kind of thing all the time but pretend it's an accident. He took the red card and walked off without protesting innocence and then admitted to it. Since then I've only had admiration for his honesty and no bullshit attitude. He's a great pundit because of it. Really glad we've got him. The dual role can only bring benefits for us.

KSV
just on Roy... It seems to be going well doesn't it. On the field.. we seem to be well structured.. we are pressing alot more in midfield and working hard not afraid to put a challenge in. Whatever he is doing in training is obviously having an affect. Off the field.. he seems to be popular and giving us publicity.. also influencing players to join to work with him (Sanchez and Cleverley both mentioned him in interviews). So far so good. As a manager he had too much control and probably went off the boil. As a number 2.. he seems to be able to give his input and maintain a good working relationship with Paul Lambert. Very pleased so far. Loved this...Great seeing him on the touchline . Edited September 3, 2014 by KSV

Butterfingers
Keanes biggest problems as a manager arose when his teams started losing. Don't know if it was the way he spoke to them/his attitude towards them or what but this is where the problems lay. As assistant, he is not under the pressure to succeed that Lambert (or any manager) is-It will not be in his remit to growl at the players as much, which will hopefully be a good thing for the team.
