BG_Villa_Fan
They could almost have another show on the go about the stuff before the first series ......and they should ....bring back ned Yes, I'm sure they could somehow kill a Sean Bean character even in a prequel. Wainy316
Robert's Rebellion would make a great series.
The_Rev
The Dunk and Egg books are fun. Very light reading, stand alone stories, set about 100 years before the show.
Zatman
There have been lots of Bran Starks. One definitely and two most likely have appeared in the show. The Night King was the 13th commander of the Watch at the time the Wall was built, so you're lookig at there being 7000 years of difference! Randyll Tarly is described as a the finest soldier in Westeros, so expect a double hard bastard. just like Barristan Selmy then
villarule123 Posted June 2, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted June 2, 2015 They should do a prequel (Roberts Rebellion) next season and have a break from the TV show as it will outpace the books soon if it already hasn't. From what I've read of it, it would be better than any series so far IMO, and a chance to bring back some great characters. They'd need a new Robert but Sean Bean could make a return couldn't he? Could this be a possibility?
Folski
Have the books been overtaken now? Did the battle yesterday take place in the books?
Eames
Have the books been overtaken now? Did the battle yesterday take place in the books? Yes and no. Yes and no. The Night's Watch do go to Harhome. There is a battle but John Snow isn't there and neither IIRC is the Night's King. Tyrion and Dany haven't met yet. Jorah doesn't re-enslave himself having met Dany again. Cersei is in jail - imprisoned by the Faith on trumped up charges. So is Margaery. Loras isn't. Arya is doing crazy assassin shit in Braavos. villa4europe
the sansa stuff isnt in the books either which means the chat she had with theon hasnt happened book spoiler - iirc sam has left the wall with gilly by now too, he's off in bravos to become a maester tv / book spoiler - really dont see how they can do anything with mance now either, would take a lot of explaining to get him back or the child storyline Edited June 2, 2015 by villa4europe

I'd say the only things in line with books are Arya's story and the goings on in Kings Landing. I'm most annoyed that they killed off Barristan Selmy when his role in the books was getting very big.
