samjp26
Honestly his comments beforehand, even if taken out of context by the press, are not going to do him any good at all after that. Edited January 4, 2014 by samjp26
Zhan_Zhuang
We'll see if Lambert has the balls to say the team played well, like he always does when we lose. Hope not because if we'd have played well then we should've won!

jasoncb
Looking at the other scores, I think this is the biggest shock of the 3rd round (not to villa fans who have watched this all season though).

Cizzler
The owner doesn't give a shit. The manager is completely clueless. The players are **** awful. The most depressing thing is not one of these three things is going to change for the foreseeable future. Joke of a club. Woody1000
People can't be throwing Lambert's comments about the F.A Cup at him over this result, criticise the tactics but not the line-up!
villa_shere
Even if he wasnt interested in going thru. He picked a strong team and they played crap. **** shit against a league one team. Created little against a team near the bottom of a team 2 divisions below. He has installed no fight into this team. Even if we are playing shit at least play with energy and look like you want to win.
Villain4Life
Sounds like Benteke missed a couple of sitters ... How poor is his form First time since 1966 Sheffield Utd won at Villa Park. 'The boys from '66' ... Loss at home, the immaterial FA Cup or not, to a League One side. Dear oh dear.
