These, with an Asda bake-at -home tiger bread bloomer as dipping material. Yummy.

Just ordered a 7 mini bottle sample set based on that pic 😀

That online store has the potential to do my credit card some serious damage !

I make my own :D

Bought a few of them bottles with the clamp down tops in Swedish Hell, sterilise hem and fill with cheap olive oil from Lidl or Aldi then bung in herbs from the garden and whatever else I fancy. Takes a good few months but I’ve Got a lovely rosemary and garlic one that has been in the bottle for about a year now

Cor blimey, strike a light guvvnor

Decided the family could do with something different down the old Gregory

Got a recipe for pie mash liquor and chilli vinegar, made the mash made the pies, going for a double double myself. Just knocking up the liquor sauce.. laverly jubilee

Knees up later round the old Joanna then  settle down and watch the custard

Luckily my Mom got these and I commented how nice they were after we'd been at hers.

Next thing you know a package arrives with these in, she's a good old stick 👍

  • 3 weeks later...

Cooked a piece of gammon yesterday for a roast, as lovely as it was, surprisingly difficult to spice/herb it for some reason. Went with a bbq rub (oo-er) and it was okay, but I don't think gammon should be a roast dinner meat. Also made dauphinoise spuds which were absolutely sublime, even if I say so myself.

I reckon I might have some sort of intolerance to whatever’s in garlic bread. That’s a bit shit innit?

Lately whenever I have it I get belly ache and feel full on nauseous.

Lamb Naga on the way. Never had a Naga before. Fancied something  different .

I had a couple of these in that restaurant near the island on the run-up to Wetherspoons, which had just changed name, cannot remember what it was called or what it’s called now for the life of me🤣 To be honest, they pitched it hotter than vindaloo but I had it more madras strength

No idea. Maybe. I’ve had plenty of garlic before but never felt sick. I even had pasta for lunch today that I imagine had garlic in it (it was frozen leftover bolognese), and I felt fine after that. But garlic bread with a lasagne for dinner today saw me feeling sick!

I've had a chicken naga before. Not bad, but didn't blow my socks off.
