villa4europe
ive sauteed some onions, thrown in some mushrooms, added some beef stock, red wine, thyme and a bit of a joux to create a basic bourguignon without the beef, toasted up a garlic baguette, put half of it along the bottom of a casserole dish, added the sauce, broke up the rest of the baguette on the top, grated some cheese over it, stuck it back in the oven absolute heaven

Xela
Hot n the heels of a CAU opening in Brindleyplace, there is going to be a Birmingham branch of Gaucho. Probably the best steak I've had when I went to the Fitzrovia branch before Xmas. Not cheap, it was £200 for a meal for 2, with a few cocktails, but delicious. Quote Argentinian restaurant Gaucho has ended years of speculation about investing in Birmingham by announced it will open in Colmore Row. The glamorous steakhouse, which is currently based only in London, Leeds and Manchester, has signed up to open a restaurant at 55 Colmore Row.
