Katja's version is superior to M&S You need to provide a packet for independent verification of bold claim I've mistimed a trip to Holland next month I went to Amsterdam for a client meeting the other week and took them over some English chocolates ... Spookily he'd had the same idea and gave me some Dutch chocolate It's safe to say he got the better deal ... I shall instigate a Percy pig exchange on my next visit
villaajax
I agree that the chocolate is nothing special... apart from Chocomel, the only chocolate milk worth drinking. I've never had chocolate milk from anywhere else that even comes close.
chrisp65
M&S Percy Pigs are made in Germany and therefore auto trump all other efforts. It's like a crazy dream ticket, jolly little pig shaped sweets, made in Germany, sold in M&S.

choffer Posted February 15, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted February 15, 2015 Sainsbury's stab at replicating the apex product of quality, modern, gummy confectionery - The Percy Pig. Marks out of 10, where 10 is a Percy or a Phizzy Pig Tail, and 1 were those strange smarties with wrong chocolate you'd get from the market. 7 - which is much better than Tesco's attempt at 5. The Percy Pig - British stab at replicating the apex product of quality, modern, gummy confectionery - Katja's Biggetjes The Waitrose effort is pretty strong : But this is the current sweet of choice:

Xann
Ah, the tank that won the war... The best tank however was... Though it made bugger all difference because it arrived too late. Though neither of these tanks look nearly as cool as the streamlined Jagdpanther. None of which are edible
villa4europe
double down dog... for some very strange reason i would absolutely love to try that Only in the Philippines isn't it ? Yeah for 1 day as well I think Don't know why the double down hasn't made it's way t the UK, one of them strange things like the Big Mac chicken sandwich which you can get all over the Middle East and would make a a killing here but for ever reason they do t do it
lapal_fan
I had 16oz beef ribs from fiesta del asado on the Hagley Road yesterday. Couldn't finish them due to the incredible size, but my word the taste was simply out of this world. 21 quid too, I've paid more for less before. Highly recommended. 9.5/

StefanAVFC Posted February 15, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted February 15, 2015 There's a regional thing in Poland called the Kanapka Drwala (Woodcutter burger) at McDonalds. Don't normally go to McDonalds but got told I had to try it. Bacon/Cheese bun, burger, bacon, deep fried cheese, lettuce and generic dressing. It was glorious. And I hate McDonalds.
