anybody that could stand outside a small community church, see the golden glow of low lighting and hear the rag tag local singers having a humble, gentle heartfelt go at this and not feel moved to gives thanks to the Lord for having a warm home to go, is a word removed

I feel grateful for what I've got, but I give my thanks to an accident of birth, and the UK education and health systems, for it, not any imaginary lord.

Not giving thanks to some imaginary omnipresent being makes you a Word Removed?

I think you can appraciate what you have, appreciate the scenario, the lights, the people, the location, the singing, the sentiments, the togetherness, etc, etc, and not have to thank 'The Lord' for that, as The Moon Man quite rightly states.

None.

Having worked in a restaurant on 8 hour shifts, with a xmas CD that was approximately 70 minutes long, and was never changed in the 6 years I worked there, I can confidently say that all xmas songs make me want to rip my ears off.

Edit: and I'm no scrooge by the way. I love christmas. I just hate the music.
