The_Steve
Not too worried, in the grand scheme of things, we are still doing well in the league, looked like we had more energy and purpose today but our finishing was suspect. Sunderland's tactics and the referee certainly did not help but we approached the game in the right way.
Davkaus
The vote for Benteke is an ironic one, i presume. Voting for a man of the match seemed ludicrous, so I nominated Benteke for a wooden spoon.
1974Centenary
Pile of dross..... What the hell has happened to Benteke? He had a bit of swagger earlier in the season now he just looks half arsed? He never wanted to stay here and it's showing. Yeah, hes playing like he knows he wont be here january
The_Steve
Mcleish esque. Absolutely not. Positive subs and we still tried to attack and refused to sit back. Always hard against sides who park the bus and we lack the players to pick out a pass.
vandaq
Really reaffirms the opinion that lot of people had about us getting an AM. Should really have been sorted, there has been to many times where that has been an issue. I support Lambert but this is dire.

ismail-villa
Benteke should be dropped for the next game imo. He needs to get a hold of himself and some confidence. At this rate lukaku will be the definite no. 1 for Belgium at the WC.

Bunnski
Westwood and Weimann looked decent. Pretty dire performance and once again highlights our need for an attacking midfielder that can make a difference if we are gonna continue to play this formation in games where teams play us on the counter and sit back. bose
At least we didn't lose. Will probably still end the weekend 10th or 11th. That's optimism right there. Not creating a chance against a poor team like Sunderland is unacceptable. It would have been a catastrophe if we had managed to lose.
Paul33
Weak, lazy, pathetic, pointless, garbage ..... and that was just BENTEKE !
Milfner
I've no idea what Benteke is doing to warrant a place in the starting XI, he's been awful all season. Even when he was scoring he wasn't great. Still not sure why Lowton isn't starting other than the fact Bacuna can probably take a better freekick than him. Nonplussed at what KEA offers and Weimann's first touch is worse than Carlton Cole's. Good to have Luna back even though he wasn't great and the partnership of Clark and Vlaar is coming along very nicely.
brummybloke
booed at the monitor after the game, we were that clueless, even with 5 minutes to go and kuzak on, no crosses into the box. make no mistake, we should have lost, we were shit and the only good thing is somehow we didn't concede a goal. there is nothing positive to take from this, another 2 points thrown away im sure prince William will be back again in a hurry, probably only picked this one as he thought it was a home winner no man of the match for me, all poor with the exception of benteke who was gash
darrenm
I don't think it was the most harmonious performance because we've had to chop and change so much recently. When we started playing well at the end of last season, it was with the players who started today, but they were a settled team. Few more weeks and it start coming together I think.

maqroll
A point and a clean sheet in a season in which we know we're not winning trophies or qualifying for Europe. One point closer to not being relegated.
