maqroll
Encouraging display by Los Yanquis yesterday. Several delicious passes from Michael Bradley, and 2 goals from Altidore, finally.
Voinjama
Looked like an impressive performance from USA. I don't think they will disgrace themselves in the world cup despite the tough group. I can see them getting 2 points. Edited June 8, 2014 by Voinjama
VillaChris
Nigeria look in good shape don't they.....they're going to be a complete waste of time yet again I'd imagine. Certainly Shola Ameobi as lead forward doesn't suggest a mountain of goals.

VillaChris
You'd think so with maybe Odemwingie just off him but him and the coach don't get on.

TrentVilla Posted June 11, 2014 Moderator Share Posted June 11, 2014 If you can buy a World Cup, I wonder how much it costs to buy the World Cup. Sadly for me the entire integrity of the competition is put into question by the actions of FIFA. I'm still looking forward to the feast of football but I suspect I'll be watching with a nagging question in the back of my mind.
villa4europe
I gave up on them a long time a go UEFA may or may not be corrupt but they're every bit as driven by money I can guess what would happen with Platini in charge, a 71 team World Cup playing in 19 different locations, a team of 18 officials (15 of which aren't allowed to do anything but they'll get a stick) with the final at the stadium with the best corporate facilities, you know, for us fans... flamingsombrero
Meh, not perfect by any stretch, but better than what Italy played on against Fluminese and definitely better than what Portugal played on last night. Voinjama
Anyone else noticed whenever they discuss classic moments, classic goals, classic images etc or even controversial moments, 2010 World Cup has none whatsoever. Truly the worse world cup in history.
