Brumstopdogs
Decent point in the end with the team showing good character to come back from 2 goals down. Hopefully Delph, Gabby, Weimann and Lowton will be back in the team for the next match. Good goal Westy!

Demitri_C
top performance from vlaar, delph was great too benteke, sylla and bacuna should be ashamed of their performances espically benteke who i thought was garbage, kept making the wrong decision and losing the ball all game

Electric Avenue
Disgraceful opening line up From lambert. Cost us 2 points. KEA, Tonev are woeful players, yes KEA scored but he does more bad than good. As for dropping Lowton, that's a joke. Our defence 1st half was lamentable. Did you not see Lowtons performances for the first 5 games of the season? Plus tonight was Bacunas first really bad game at RB.
Condimentalist
Good point in the end. Looked so much better at 433, I still think that is our most natural formation, especially away. When Benteke starts going again I can see us picking up a few decent results. Guzan - 5 Bacuna - 5 Vlaar - 7 Baker - 5 Clark - 5 El Ahmadi - 6 Westwood - 8 Sylla - 5 Kozak - 6 Benteke - 6 Subs: Weimann - 7 Gabby - 7 Delph -
PaulC
Bacuna wasn't bad second half when he played more as a wing back. His crosses were poor though, That's one area Lowton is better at. Anyway he deserves a bit of slack because hes been very good so far
smetrov
Gotta be more happy as a villa fan than a WBA one tonight. With the exception of Vlaar we have a bunch of rookies in defence, one of which is playing out of position - We concede 2 soft early goals and to be honest it looked like a 4-5 nil spanking could be on the cards - relieved to get to half time still only 2 down. Not much had changed with almost an hour gone. But we fought our way back - and from 2 unlikely sources we grab a point - with a bit more guile and compusure we may have got all 3. A point was satisfactory @ 8pm - and even more so by 8.15. We weren't great - but were becoming tough to beat - hopefully Lambo sticks around to put the icing on the cake. mikeyp102
Can't give anyone of ours a motm. First half was truely awful, w should've been buried. Better second and whilst substitutions individually didn't make a difference the shape unsettled Albion. Fair result in the end

Playing the same team that won the last game 2-0 is not a disgrace. Saying it's a disgrace is what's a joke, not "dropping" Lowton, who came on as a sub and probably would have done here again in different circumstances. A dictionary might help you out with the definition of the word "disgrace". Edited November 25, 2013 by CrackpotForeigner

joetipton86
That team started the game we won 2-0 but it was 0-0 until he made changes so surely should of gone with the team that finished, because tbh for 75 mins agains cardiff we played shit
darrenm
Steve Clarke was bang on when he said they did well to keep it at 2-2 when we were all over them. By the time we got the 2nd, there was only going to be 1 winner.
NurembergVillan Posted November 25, 2013 Moderator Share Posted November 25, 2013 It was also an Albion team who recently were one crap refereeing decision away from wining at Stamford Bridge. I'm delighted with the comeback but the first half was like this time last year all over again.

PaulC
Left a comment on the Paul Lambert threat but can't copy and paste and can't be bothered typing it all out again! Some of the comments on here have been a joke. Reason the three of them didn't start was because they weren't fit enough - they were dead on their feet after 20 minutes of the 35 they came on for. If people are too thick or bullish to understand that and accept it then we're in trouble!!! I said the starting line-up wouldn't include them last night because they weren't fit. Reason for going down 2-0 was a great goal from Long and a stupid mistake from Bacuna and then it drained the team of confidence. Simple. Same way as it was simple changed which turned the game on its head! Yes you were spot on. Lambert brought them on sooner than he wanted to.
