tonyh29
Name the actor who appeared in just five films in his career, all of which were either nominated for the Best Film Oscar, or won the Best Film Oscar. A set of steak knives if you can name all five films... I thought maybe James Dean as he died young But as I'm off to bed shortly and it would have bugged me and kept me awake I looked it up (but won't spoil it for others ) Good question though

maqroll
"Knives are in the mail" is probably an NSA red flag phrase that's put me on their watch list. Come to think of it, "watch list" probably gets me on a list as well!

leviramsey Posted November 21, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted November 21, 2013 New Hampshire? Edit: Nope. Answer's pretty surprising. Well, there are several, since Massachusetts' royal charter was coast-to-coast, so anything in North America between 42 degrees and 42 degrees 40 minutes north was part of Massachusetts. (that's not the answer maqroll was looking for...)

mjmooney Posted November 24, 2013 Author VT Supporter Share Posted November 24, 2013 (edited) Off the top of my head: I Am the Walrus - Edgar Allan Poe Taxman - (Harold) Wilson and (Edward) Heath. I'm So Tired - Sir Walter Raleigh Revolution - Chairman Mao Her Majesty - Her Majesty (!) Dig It - Matt Busby, B. B. King, Doris Day Yer Blues - (Bob) Dylan Glass Onion - Paul (McCartney) For You Blue - Johnny (Lennon), Elmore James Honey Don't - George (Harrison), Ringo (Starr) There are probably more. EDIT: A couple of dubious ones - Sexy Sadie was their nickname for the Maharishi Paperback Writer - the "man named Lear" was probably not Edward Lear (who didn't write novels) Edited November 24, 2013 by mjmooney
