Czechlad
Sunderland are finished imo I still cannot believe they sold Sessegnon possibly the only flair and talent they had Just look at that back four Dire Except for Čelůstka of course
Guest
The whole Florian Marange thing at Palace is laughable. Only a tool like Holloway could buy someone then decide after two games that he hasn't got any pace. Did he not realise the player HE was buying didn't have any pace BEFORE he bought him!? What makes it more amusing is Marange, after he was dumped out of the squad, said that he'd be at the club longer than Holloway, and he was right I thought that was Garvan? Zatman
think at moment 7 of the bottom 8 minus swansea are probably in a relegation battle
coda
If West Ham get relegated I'll do a little dance. I'd love to see that stadium they blagged half empty in the Championship.

I was having a little chortle about that prospect myself but my thoughts went as far as Div 1! I know it's unrealistic that they will drop that far but my absolute hatred of the pornopigs and slag warps my sense of reality.
Guest
Fulham look awful, think they will pick up under a new manager. Stoke should also be worried.
BOF Posted November 9, 2013 Moderator Share Posted November 9, 2013 That third spot is wide open. Every candidate for it could also finish 11th. Someone's gonna be very surprised/upset come season's end.
islingtonclaret
dk's has beaten me to it on this one: I know there's a long way to go, but Fulham really did look atrocious. Considering Norwich were letting a rot start, they pulled the West Ham game back well.
VillaChris
Fulham won't go down. 9 of their 10 points this season have come against Crystal Palace, Sunderland and Stoke. Generally if you pick up wins against fellow relegation candidates (like we were doing from March) you don't go down. They also have the lovely safety net of Crystal Palace at home on the last day. I do agree Jol won't last much longer though.

Norwich will pick up enough points at home to stay up. When Carroll comes back for West Ham they will pick up. Cardiff could go too.
VillaChris
Stoke are in massive danger I reckon. They don't score goals and they've lose the fear factor of the Britannia stadium which has been the rock for their survival over the years in the prem. I do think the time was right to ditch Pulis but Mark Hughes is just more of the same and I'm amazed he's barely changed the forwardline such as continuing to play Jon Walters every game. Cliffy Biro
Far too early to even consider a team as down, sure many had us as bankers in january. You can be shit for months and still survive were testament to that.

BOF Posted November 11, 2013 Moderator Share Posted November 11, 2013 Just looking at the upcoming fixtures and noticed that Palace have the easiest next 4 fixtures in the league (@Hull, @Norwich, v West Ham, v Cardiff). If they're going to get their Premier League season back on track they've 4 games to do it in. If it doesn't go well then they'll be well and truly cut adrift for good. I suspect they'll be cut adrift
Zatman
they are rumoured to be getting Aitor Karanka as manager, could be interesting for Bannan style of play having a Spanish manager
BOF Posted November 11, 2013 Moderator Share Posted November 11, 2013 Unless he gets £100m in January, that's a hiding to nothing. Although it's all relative of course. By 'hiding to nothing' I mean he'll get paid a fortune, get tens of millions over 3 seasons for being relegated and be one of the favourites for re-promotion. Not bad when you think of it like that
troon_villan
Where did that Sunderland win come from?? How the hell can Man City go from putting 7 past Norwich to that result? Justifies my decision to never bet on the Premier League to be fair!
