Its more really than he can offer more than some of the "squad" players we have brought in who are still learning the ropes. Yes they might not learn as quickly playing 10 minutes here and 15 minutes there but thats what happens when you buy potential rather than ability. 8th and 10th isnt that great 16th and 18th is a little different (not that I think we will go down) but a few injuries and we are then needing the players with potential to step up maybe not in the best environment.

I do question whether he has spent the money wisely this summer, one or two signings look at this point as though they arent ready and if they are capable to step up. It does make you wonder what Gareth Barry would have added to our midfield which at the moment is woeful.

Only consolation is that Lambert won't sign a new contract without significant backing from the Chairman and that clearing in the woods has no interest in giving that kind of backing. -
Tesco Direct had the 8gb for £99.00 for a few hours a couple of days ago, anybody that it at that price must have a better bargain than most of those coming on Black Friday

Watched the latest episode of The Walking Dead (US Pace) last night. Fell asleep it was that boring. Although looking on other forums I appear to be in the minority.

I think in terms of time on screen Webbers Red Bull was higher than Vettels. Wonder how Red Bull feel about that. The whole thing is just too technical with tyre stratergies, DRS & KERRS. I dont want to watch some racing and looking after their tyres...............

What the hell has happened to The Walking Dead. The last episode was dire apart from the last 10 minutes, although Scott Wilson was absolutely superb. I have a feeling based on nothing but what I have seen and the fact Melissa McBride is still in the credits that Carol didnt kill the 2 people but was probably covering for the girl who she had taught how to use a knife. Hope it starts picking up soon...........

My son is 14 in Feb and I will look to get the Moto G as present to replace his Sony Xperia Play which he uses every single day. Looks to be the Bargain / Mid range equivalent of the Nexus 5. Cracking phone.

Bought a Nokia Wireless Charger of ebay for the N5 and must say its so easy to use. Just plonk it down on the bedside table at night and pick it up again in the morning fully charged. The N5 is a huge leap forward compared to the Gnex I was using but have to say the WOW factor is less than the jump from the HTC Desire to the Samsung S2. Is the fact that the OS has matured so much and most of the app improvements are available from the play store making the need for a Nexus not so important than it has been.

Good to see that many of the greedy bastards that ordered the N5 to try and make a killing on ebay are being screwed over. Many of them will be lucky to break even, with one guy only getting £290.00 for his so with ebay fees a loss of over £30.00.

Went to the Three store last night to get a microsim for the N5 and the lady in the shop cut my standard sized sim card down while I waited...........not heard of them doing that before.

When the Nexus 5 went live on the Play Store yesterday one bellend in a forum I was in was moaning because he thought £299.00 was a bit steep.......so £20.00 more than the Nexus 4 with a vastly superior set of hardware. Great news that CPW are selling them simfree for £295.00, should really help with getting it into the market.
