Surely, we have got some lawyers who can make sure he gets naff all out of us. He wants to go and therefor needs to accept that he ain't getting a pay off.
-
He has potential. But so did I when I was a youth. Potential really means nothing to be honest, you have to back it up with something more than just a season. He could work here, he just seems so reluctant to do so.
Lets be wise and put his wages somewhere worth while and improve our game on the field.
I can see him going to a Bolton, Blackburn, Fulham style club where he will, like Sidwell, play most games and get in to a rhythm and become successful for them. Wouldn't be surprised if he opt abroad though.
Apologies as I don't know you and how much potential you had or what level you got to. But that statement is a joke. SI has got potential but he has also played very well for 1 season at the top level for a good team. He's got more than potential.
Fixed that for you!
1 season in how many?

Steve Kean is liekly to be named the permanent boss of Blackburn. Those chicken farmers really know what they are doing don't they?
-
There's no co-incidence, I am sure, between the efforts of Houllier to push Ireland out of the club and the recent stories in the press about him costing £2000 per minute on the field.
I think he wants out and GH wants him out as he is not prepared to to work his bollox off for this club. He may well train hard but for christ's sake, he needs to do it on the pitch.
As for the above, any journo can divide his weekly wages paid to him at present by how many minutes he has played to get that £2000 a minute.
-
Much ado about nothing. AGAIN! Move on People there is nothing to see here!
BUT Oh NO! It gives another reason to be drama queens and moan about GH.
-
Milner hauled off at half time for Adam Johnson. My heart bleeds for you boy. You've made your bed.....
-
I think GH's style of passing will suit his game and he will be able to stamp himself on a game. I saw Delph play against Fiorentina and Brighton and in both games, we played more passing rather than direct and he looked very good indeed. Plus his goal against Brighton was a quality run in beyond the front man and finish.
-
The reason why Ramsey has gone on loan is because they have 3-4 midfielders who are in great form, we have no-one hence why Delph will be top quality.
^^^This. He will get games here so there will not be a need for him to go out on loan.
-
yer bring him back early to play on a frozen pitch. the sort of crazy decision I've come to expect off frenchman
Typical olb's post. No thought, no substance, just shit.
-
IIRC, Downing was expected to play in December and was back in training in November after hed had his pin took out and started his first game at the end of that month (all this being done after not being able to run for 5 months. I think Delph will be back and available to play mid to late Jan. We may evben see him play some part in the Sheff Utd cup game.

Anyone think that he looks like a young Father Jack (from Father Ted)?
Feck Off!
Arse Biscuits!

I can't wait. He has a great range of passing so should fit right in.
It's his movement off the ball that will also appeal to GH.
-
We need to kill this game off with another goal. Can the Holte all breathe in at the same time to suck the ball in?
The first 15 minutes of the second half will be crucial. We need to keep our concentration and give nothing away.
-
Much better resolute defending but we need to see more in the final third. Great goal but what else have we really created?
-
Cuellar seems to be added some much needed pace and covering at the back.

'We want a mnager with more experience'
Alan Pardew??? WTF
I think it could be interesting to see where they go from here.

Can I ask what you or Randy think about football pundits that say struggling teams would like to play against us because we invite trouble on ourselves and defend poorly?
Can I also add that all you can hear are the Villa fans outsinging the kop. Those boys do NOT deserve to have a performance like this put on for them. We are so poor at the moment and the boards resolve will be seriously shown in the next few weeks.

It seems to me that the whole set up at the moment has been and still is being a little nieve. You can't be successful and nice, it is always one or the other. I think that GH's appoitnment was a good one. However, when you see the team turn up and play with no heart, pride or creativity, you need to start laying down the law not saying we'll turn the corner next time. It is clear that we have good players but they need a kick up the arse and I think you could be the one to do it. Randy has invested a lot of money in our great club and is in grave danger of seeing that put down the drain.
At the moment, I am starting to lose my hope and genuinely are begining to feel that we will become relegation fodder. Confidence is so brittle at times and we look like a team severely lacking in it.

OUR DEFENCE IS SHIT!
-
SHIT! COCKSUCKERS! word removed BOLLOCKS!
-
So these great defenders we have have conceeded yet ANOTHER poor goal. It could all have been prevented.

BJ10 expects that every man will do his duty!
And quite right so!

Why no Bannan tonight?
Don't tell me we have somebody else to add to our injury list?!
sorry mate, it's his groin.
I wish Duverne would take it easy with these guys now. I mean, fitness training 10 times a day is just not working!

HE has stated that HE wants to leave. It's in the Irish press and GH confirmed it. **** him off!
