    We got the ball on the break, Ireland with space in midfield - every player started to hide. We've lost this, heads are gone. It's more about winning the leg than winning the tie any more... Does Lambert skin a puppy in front of them at HT or what?

    Admittedly this is weaker opposition, but this is the kind of attitude I thought I'd see more of when Lambert joined - all-out attack, tidy stuff on the ground, defending from the front. Sadly this season's been too much focus on rubbish like Bannan and not enough getting the best out of players like Ireland, Zog, Gabby. Great shot Zoggy.

    Super attack through Gabby, Zog and Tekkers. Massively important for us. Bannan has had a shocking start, even by his low standards.

    I would have taken a point before the game but that's only because Lambert's shit record has lowered my expectations so much. Shit subs were one thing that cost us, but it was also the fact that West Brom actually woke up and started playing, which exposed our formation for the stupidity it is - a counter-attacking setup for a team who can't defend. Lambert just looks more inept by the week. Not what we need when we're struggling for survival.

    First half - 3 players had fun against a shit team. Second half - baggies start to take advantage of our stupid bottom-heavy formation while Lambert puts on two shit players. His tactics are just shit.

    Even for a team as shit as this stripey lot, they're getting a terrifying amount of space in the middle of the park. We're relying on their shit passing to do the work for us.
