  1. Sneaks off to edit list... (gawd knows how I forgot that)

  3. Not long finished my second viewing of the whole thing. Wonderful show.
  4. I think if you only take a passing glance at it, then it can be seen as daft or whatever. However, once you start to see how it all works, the writing, the performances, the way the matches 'tell a story' and the amazing amount of physical work the performers have to put in to it (plus promos in front of a live audience that never skip a beat) then you get a better understanding. How anyone could watch something like Beyond the Mat or the numerous other documentaries and not come away with at least a grudging respect for the entertainment is beyond me. I probably mentioned this before but I used to do a shit load of writing for various sites around the 97 - 2003 era and the pretty exhaustive research I used to have to do (Smarks know everything and pick you up on every little detail) you begin to realise what a strange, cut throat and yet sometimes brilliant business it all is. So yeah, 99-2001 = Amazing times for the fans.
  5. Yep. Standard Friday night for me would be TNT from 9 until 10 for Nitro and then over to Sky for Raw is War. Some great shows during that era.
  6. Have you hunted down any of the Creation Club content that you get with the Anniversary edition yet? First thing I did was the quest for the Daedric armour and then the one which awards you the Hendraheim House which is just brilliant and bloody useful to have. I'll probably track down all the other bits and pieces when I'm a bit further into the game.
  7. Really enjoying my latest PS5 playthrough. It really is still an impressive game after all these years. Some of the attention to detail from a world building pov is top tier, with the interwining storylines of different factions / armies all sitting comfortably side by side and not feeling out of place. The melee combat is still clunky as **** and some of the voice acting and character models are sub par by today's standards, but you can still clearly see why its regarded as one of the greatest rpgs of all time.
  8. Excellent away result against a very, very decent team. First half was great, fell away a bit in the second but you can't really fault 3 points. What has happened to Ollie though?
  9. 2 1 to Palace. Benteke to score.
  10. 6 months left on mine. Quite the game changer financially.
  11. Really enjoyable stuff. Even though there's plenty of fan service, it's a good story in its own right.
  12. Dark Souls voted Best Game of All Time at The Golden Joystick Awards.
  13. Picked up Borderlands 3 on PS5 for 11.99. Enjoyed the first couple so I'm hoping for more of the same. Anyone played it?
  14. Just back from watching this: I have zero interest in tennis, and I'm not a big fan of Will Smith however after reading all the positive reviews I thought I'd make the trip to see it. Really glad I did, it's a very good movie indeed. Best performance I've ever seen from W.Smith and a really interesting story.
  15. I thought that was 'Tyres' from Spaced for a second.
  16. Ah right, I read you wrong then. As Pete says PTSA is a belter. I think Jubilee Street is one of the best songs they've recorded.
  17. Fair one. That was the tour me, you and Bicks saw them on iirc.
  18. If I'm reading Bicks correctly, he's saying DLD was below par. I agree with him tbh, some good tracks but it's not their best by a mile. PTSA and Skeleton Tree are both superb.
  19. One of my favourite songs ever. I think it's kinda perfect tbh.
  20. I've never heard a bad album by HMHB tbh. Some have weaker tracks but I don't think I've heard a bad album overall. Same for Sleaford Mods actually.
