That's one of the things I liked most about it. It didn't need a big 'wow' ending because the whole thing told the story so well with the bits of flashback and dialogue that by pretty much the last scene it had all fallen into place really well. It really resonated with me as a friend of mine had a similar experience with being a mother and from what she told me, much of this was bang on. I thought it was excellent.

Salt and Sanctuary. Lots and lots of Salt and Sanctuary. It's bloody marvellous and I'm kind of kicking myself for not playing it earlier. The sequel is due this year and if its anywhere near as good as the first it'll be a first day purchase.

Finished latest season of Cobra Kai (binged in 2 nights). Very enjoyable as always.

Really enjoyed the first 2 episodes of Alice in Borderland. I'm a sucker for that kind of high concept story and it's been top drawer so far.

I'm always quite jealous when I read that someone is going to play it for the first time. As mentioned a zillion times, easily my favourite series of games and I've finished DS1 countless times. But that first playthrough is amazing. I've still yet to find a game with such a uniquely bleak atmosphere, and once you start exploring and find how superbly interconnected the whole world is, it's just wonderful. It's not a game that clicks with everyone, but if you get into it, you're in for a treat. Hit me up if you need any tips mate.

Yeah, there are methods but it's not great tbh. Luckily it's optional so ive only ever bothered with it once iirc.

Very enjoyable pitch black comedy drama. Sharp and witty script and great performances (especially the always excellent Jeffrey Donovan). Good stuff.

Nearly finished S4 of Vikings now. Terrific show.
