The 'best' fixed offer I can find for ours is a hike from £127 a month to £257 a month. That's gonna hurt.
  3. First gig booked up since 2019! Bob Vylan at the Academy in Brum in May. They are supposed to be amazing live so already looking forward to it I've bloody missed live music.
  4. Which one? There's loads of the bastards!
  5. Yeah theres a reason I've finished 4 different iterations of Skyrim. Hugely replayable and immersive game. Having put a fair few hours into Elden Ring now I think it's closer to a Skyrim/Witcher3/Soulsborne hybrid rather than the reported BOTW/Soulsborne, although there's definitely some elements of that too.
  6. Finished Arcane last night. Pretty much flawless. Roll on S2.
  7. I'm going to have to print this map out to keep track...
  8. Yeah that one took a while. Its the first story boss so there's a definite hike in difficulty.
  9. Lost five hours of progress because of a power cut and an issue with the game not saving correctly if the ps5 isn't shut down properly. Bit gutted as I'd taken down two bosses. Oh well.
  10. Every time I hear that name I think of StreetHawk
  11. Tbh, Eyes without a Face isn't obscure. It's an incredibly influential movie (very good too). I'd never heard of That Darn Cat though
  12. Just took down Godrick. Satisfying.
  13. Strange. I've been using the Furlcalling Finger Remedy to show any player summon signs (there's always a shit tonne) and I've been using the Jellyfish, Skeletal Militiaman and Wolf Ashes for support quite a few times. For the latter the white icon above the bottom left area of the screen has to be flashing.
  14. I'm not going to try to change anyone's mind but what I will say is that this is by far the most accessible Soulsborne game to date. The number of QoL additions (checkpoints next to boss fights etc) and the open world nature of the setting mean that even though the combat is still very much DS at its core, the gameplay loop differs quite a lot. Personally I think that anyone who has more than a passing interest in video games owes it to themselves to give it a go. I can't recommend it enough and I've barely scratched the surface after about 15 hours.
  15. Some of the boss designs are superb. Just fought an erm...aqua based boss which was nicely creative. Also, my tip for a good all round early weapon is the Great Épée. Not difficult to find and a very solid quality build sword.
  16. Mine looks like he should be playing bass in Paradise Lost
  17. Yeah, I haven't died to regular mobs yet. Just bosses and mini boss mobs.
  18. I've just stumbled on a rather lovely farming area (over 1k per mob) which for early levels is going to be very useful.
  19. The BOTW comparison is pretty much because it's an open world game with more organic discovery elements instead of a thousand markers on a map. Combat wise, It's still very much a Souls game at heart.
  20. Sorry, was my attempt at humour I'm sure you're aware of the 'can't see me' Cena meme.
  21. Is that the one with John Cena? Yeah I looked but I couldn't see it anywhere...
