  1. Loved it. Really looking forward to the prequel.
  2. Give this link a go: https://www.myabandonware.com/game/premier-manager-1va
  3. I wondered what Russell Howard was up too these days.
  4. Well, I was wrong about never playing it after downloading the Director Cut on PS Prem and so far it's way, way better than I thought it would be. I can also see why some people would absolutely hate it, but I'm finding the actual gameplay loop (basically the traversing the land and delivering items) to be quite relaxing and fun. Also, it looks absolutely stunning and some of the attention to detail is incredible. Maybe I'll lose interest after a few more hours, but it's already hugely surpassed my expectations.
  5. Each to their own and all that, but from what I've read (and seen) both Keene and Hall are supposedly very accurate to their real life counterparts. I think it's great so far, really well written and superbly acted.
  6. Another vote for Black Bird. Two episodes in and it's excellent.
  7. Same. Gave it a go but just could not get on with it.
  8. If we're talking about the one from about a decade ago and not a new version, then yeah I seem to remember it being a decent ghost story. There's merch for it? That's pretty obscure ***Edit*** oh shit yeah! Just looked on Amazon and there's Owl Man merch.
  9. Triple H taking over on all creative.
  10. A pair of words removed arguing over who is more of a word removed. words removed.
  11. Really enjoyed this one. Dark, psychological sports drama with a cracking performance from Isabelle Fuhrman. Recommended
  12. Yep, I get the feeling he's been told he has to go before some fresh accusations / revelations that they've been made aware of come out.
  13. It's on NOWTV if you don't have a Sky sub.
  14. Talking of top tier TV, I watched the last episode of We Own This City last night. Just fantastic from start to finish and what a superb cast they put together - especially Jon Bernthal who was absolutely outstanding as Wayne Jenkins. A performance that will be talked about for years imo. Did a bit of a dive into the real story after I watched it and good lord, that city is a cesspool of corruption isn't it? incredible stuff.
  15. You lucky bastard. I would bloody love to watch that again for the first time.
  16. Saw Thor Love and Thunder earlier today. It's...fine really, certainly entertaining and the two hours flew by. It's main problem is it doesn't have an identity. It bounces around tonally from the start and never really settles into It's own skin. There are some darker themes which don't suit the jaunty comedy and there's a standout section in (almost) black and white which I think is one of the best things Marvel has done for ages, it's really effective and gripping but it kinda got lost amongst other more lackadaisical scenes and themes. Cast is fine (Bale unsurprisingly the standout although I would have liked him to have more screen time) and its not a bad romp if you can ignore its inconsistencies. Not top tier Marvel, but they've made much worse imo.
  17. Which is why this is still widely regarded as a classic (as it should be):
  18. I didn't find it too troubling tbh - certainly nowhere near the grind of some others I have.
  19. Still as incredible as the first time I heard it all those years ago (31 years? kinell) Mr Bungle - Mr Bungle

    Weather...

Must be hot here because a couple of Hobbits just walked into my house and dropped a ring into the living room.
