I don't always agree with him, in fact some of his views are just odd (his hatred of Mox for instance) but I could listen to Corny for hours.
Plus, he **** hates Right Wing arseholes which is always a bonus.
I saw them a few years ago in Bristol and they were unfortunately as dull as dishwater on that occasion. Shame because I really like some of their stuff (in particular the movie soundtracks)
Just as well We Were Promised Jetpacks were supporting (I was mostly there for them) and they blew the main band off the stage (kengif).
Just finished the latest Saints Row (great fun) so now I'm gonna get properly stuck into Thymesia which I've been looking forward to for a while.
Also got Yakuza Like a Dragon on the go amongst a few others.
Went to see this yesterday:
Did exactly what it said on the tin, which is a good, no nonsense 'survival thriller'.
Streamlined plot, a story that belts along at a nice pace, some very effective and tense set pieces and a really good cast. Elba does his usual Elba thing, he doesn't have the greatest range but he does have a good screen presence, and the daughters and Copley all put in a convincing shift.
Solid stuff.
