Evil Dead Rise getting very positive reviews which I'm chuffed about. From what I've seen in the trailers and read online it's a far darker and less humorous movie than previous entries. Tickets booked for Friday and I'm already hyped

Yeah very good horror, very unsettling. The director has made a kind of remake/reboot called Malum which is due this year. I'll definitely be checking that out

The brilliant Issa Lopez's involvement means that I have high hopes that it'll be good.

Just got back from watching this... It's a lot of fun, entertaining, gory and the three central performances from Hoult, Cage and Awkwafina are all top notch (all clearly having a great time with Cage unsurprisingly and literally chewing the scenery) It's also surprisingly quite touching and reflective in parts, although the central theme of toxic relationships and co-dependency does tend to get lost amongst the OTT bloody fight scenes. Enjoyable saftness.

It's a weird game for me. When I first played it on PC many years ago it was easily one of my favourite games and I'd sink hours into it. Then, when D3 came out I did the same with that and again had a cracking time. I pre ordered the D2 remake because I was so confident of it being brilliant and able to rekindle those warm memories of when I first played it... I think I lasted a few hours into it and I've barely touched it since. I'm not sure if I'd been incredibly spoiled by how good D3 turned out eventually, or if an overload of nostalgia had clouded my memory and judgment. Probably a mixture of both tbh. So yeah, I kinda understand what you mean. I'm still hyped to **** about D4 though

Always loved the Carry On movies from an early age. Some of them stand up better than others now (Sergeant/Doctor/Up the Jungle) and we watched Carry On Screaming again just the other week. Laughed like a drain. Plus Fenella in that red dress had a big effect on me when I was a kid

Yeah that's the one FF. As far as Devil Rides Out goes, I pretty much own every Hammer movie ever made and that one is comfortably top 5. Superb stuff.

Tonight's movie... Probably my favourite Vincent Price film, I've watched it countless times as it always stayed me after i first watched it at a tender age (probably 8 or 9). Quirky, camp and gory with Price lovingly chewing the scenery every time he's on screen.
